A Fine Dining Experience Rajput valour, glory and grandeur are the essence of 1135 AD, Amber. 'Rajputana' now known as Rajasthan, was the land of many princely states which includes Jaipur. 1135 AD derives its name from the year in which the Kacchawaha clan founded the dynasty. The royal cooks worked here and kept the delicious recipes to themselves. Some of these recipes were passed on through the generations. Our chef know most of the court anecdotes from the royal cooks. They bring them forth in a the true culinary tradition of the 'Rajput Kingdom'.
The restaurant is spread out over many sections.The Shahi Aangan is centrally located and is open to the view of the palace and city below. The Swarna Mahal is the main restaurant and the Diwan-I-Khas is a relaxation corner. The Sheesh Mahal is reserved for private dining; and is made entirely of pure silver and gold.
